How quickly can I schedule a consultation?
Most consultations can be scheduled within 7-10 business days of initial contact. However, this depends on the complexity of your case and Dr. Starpoli’s availability. Moreover, urgent cases can often be accommodated more quickly. Therefore, when you contact us, let us know if you have time-sensitive concerns.
Do you accept insurance?
Our consultations are self-pay. However, we provide detailed receipts with appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Furthermore, many patients receive partial or full reimbursement. Therefore, we recommend checking your out-of-network benefits before you schedule.
What if I’m located outside the states where Dr. Starpoli is licensed?
Unfortunately, due to medical licensing requirements, Dr. Starpoli can only provide formal medical consultations to patients located in New York, Connecticut, California, or Puerto Rico at the time of the telemedicine appointment. However, if you’re temporarily traveling, you may schedule when you’re in one of these locations.
Can I schedule a consultation for a family member?
Yes. You can arrange a consultation on behalf of a family member. However, the patient should be present for the video consultation with Dr. Starpoli. Additionally, we’ll need the patient’s consent to discuss their medical information.
What payment methods do you accept when I schedule?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Moreover, payment is required at the time you schedule your consultation. Therefore, have your payment information ready when you contact our office.
Can I reschedule my consultation?
Yes. If you need to reschedule, please contact our office at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Furthermore, we’ll work with you to find an alternative time that works better. However, cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a rescheduling fee.
